The eight edition of Transilvania International Guitar Festival will take place in Cluj-Napoca during 16-21 of August 2010.

4. International competitions of classical guitar • Chamber Music Competition, two age categories
• Solo Competition, five age categories.
• Prizes: 2500 Euro total prizes, recitals in Romania and Poland, strings and guitar accessories.
5. Accommodation • "Apafi Mihály" Student Hostel is located in the center of Cluj-Napoca, in a safe area, in walking distance (5 minutes) from the festival's main location.
• The price is 8 Euro/person/night for participants up to 18 years old, and 10 Euro/person/night for adults, that is 48 Euro and 60 Euro respectively, for the entire period of the festival (six nights).
• Rooms: the hostel offers spacious rooms with 3 beds, two rooms sharing a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. A preview of the rooms is available here: http://transilvaniaguitar.ro/festival.php?edition=festival&page=accommodation
• Depending on the available number of rooms, participants may be accommodated on 2-3 stars hotel for 25-50 Euro per night, in single, double, triple or quadruple rooms.
• Participants can arrange to be collected at the airport or bus stop upon arrival.
6. Registration fees: • solo classical guitar competition: between 15 and 50 Euro, depending on the age category
• chamber music competition, I-mc Category: between 30 Euro and 50 Euro / formation, depending on the age category
• master classes: between 40 Euro and 70 Euro, depending on the number of classes (2 to 5 classes). A class is an individual meeting of 40 minutes with one of the teachers. Participants may choose 4 preferred teachers.
