Prokofiev fans will be excited to learn that this is a new version of the opera, reworked with the composer's original intentions in mind and free from the Soviet era censorship which shaped the work we know today.

New Year, New Term
We’re gearing up for the start of this year’s classes for kids and there still time to join in. For 3 to 6 year olds, Sing up Saturdays explore the music, language and culture that shapes Spanish and Italian opera, through songs, games, drama and dance. And for 10 to 14 year olds Create an Opera does just that – explores everything involved in making and performing opera right through to a live stage performance.
