Festival d'Avignon

Festival dAvignonThe programme of the 65th Festival d'Avignon, whose associate artist is the French dancer and choreographer Boris Charmatz, is available.
This edition brings once again together artists from around the world to offer you an exceptional panorama of the contemporary performing arts scene in the unique setting of Avignon’s medieval walled-city.
Most of the shows that will be presented are created especially for the Festival and many artists are starting rehearsals as we write these lines.

The Festival d’Avignon has long been an international platform for the performing arts, welcoming artists and performances from many countries and in many languages. Since 2007, and with the support of the European Commission, the Festival d’Avignon has made a significant effort to enable a growing number of non-French-speaking audiences to fully enjoy the artistic programme.
