ARTmania Festival 2010 is presenting six concerts in The Large Square during the 13-15th August

ARTmania Festival 2010 will take place between 13th and 15th August. Reaching the fifth edition, ARTmania Festival is shouting out the next band coming to Sibiu and playing Friday, on the 13^th of August 2010 in the Large Square: the sisters of mercy.

The third band for the first time in Romania is coming to ARTmania Festival 2010 to play Saturday, the 14^th. Sirenia (Norway) sounds like a mixture of gothic metal and rock with classical influences, in addition to some elements from more extreme metal genres.

ARTmania Festival 2010 will take place between 13^th and 15^th August. Reaching the fifth edition, Artmania spreads the word that a powerful band from USA will be on the Large Square stage on the first day of the festival.

This news will change your travel plans for August 2010. Sibiu City is a must go in the 13-15^th weekend because ARTmania Festival 2010 presents Serj Tankian headlining this event. Classical and electrical instruments will be heard on Saturday in the Large Square of Sibiu surrounding the voice of the artist who revolutionized rock music.

DAY ONE of the Festival opens at sunset with Swallow the Sun (Fin), along with Kamelot (USA) and the sisters of mercy (UK). Two unforgettable days in Piata Mare of Sibiu will bring six bands for the first time in Romania. The second day of the Festival offers the live performances of Serj Tankian, Dark Tranquillity and Sirenia.

Dark Tranquility, the fifth band among the guests of 2010 ARTmania Festival playing for the first time in Romania, has an impressive background. Tuning the metal to Gothenburg sound ever since ’89, Serj Tankian, Dark Tranquillity and Sirenia will be playing Saturday, August 14, 2010 in Piata Mare.

One of the most unconventional front men in rock, System Of A Down’s lead singer Serj Tankian, will perform in Sibiu on August 14, as part of his first solo tour, Elect The Dead. His accompanying band will consist of four violins, four cellos and two horns, in a similar build-up with the one at the Rock Am Ring festival in Germany this year.
