Few years ago, the croc hunter Steve Irwin used to affront the nature and push his own limits by daily confronting dangerous animals worldwide. He used to have his own Discovery Channel show, and the viewers frequently asked themselves how come the tragedies avoided him although sometimes he seemed to de desperately looking for them.

On Tuesday, 16 December 2010, the broadcaster, well known for his famous suspenders, announced live that “the time to hang his suspenders has arrived”. This moment was followed by a touching, last show, in which the journalist of 77 years old, received regards from numerous celebrities and broadcasters and recorded messages from the president Barak Obama and from the ex-president Bill Clinton.

On the first day of 2011, in the afternoon, the well known television host of the “The Oprah Show” launched her own television network called „Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN)”. Though the release was twice postponed, the famous Oprah Winfrey decided to strike her audience at the beginning of the New Year.
